Brendan has worked as a technology entrepreneur for most of his career, having created and scaled, a number of innovative companies, in the telecoms and media industry.

He began work as an executive coach during the 2008 recession, helping the Irish and UK Governments, to scale indigenous industry, through accelerating the growth of companies, using Government funded executive training programmes, targeted at the CEO’s. Brendan has worked with some of the most successful entrepreneurs and CEO’s in Ireland and the UK, helping them to scale their companies, to become significant players, in international markets and creating significant economic growth, through job creation and exports.

Brendan qualified as an Executive Coach with University College Cork / IMI and has worked with hundreds of CEO’s and their top management teams, helping them accelerate the growth of their business and to improve leadership skills, both at work and in life. This coaching work covers all aspects of growing a business and typically follows a process as outlined in his book “Accelerating Company Growth”. Brendan also works with CEO’s on their personal development and wellbeing, to achieve a good work life balance and to enhance their life satisfaction, focused on the individual as opposed to the company.

Brendan works as a motivational speaker on various masters programmes in Universities (typically MBA’s) and Executive Education programmes at business schools in Ireland and the UK, giving entertaining speeches and practical advice from his own experience as an entrepreneur and though the experience of working with other entrepreneurs and CEO’s.

Brendan is the author of “Accelerating Company Growth” (A practical guide for CEO’s) published by Oak Tree Press, see “Book” tab for more information or to purchase the book online. This book has been used on various executive programmes, that are focused on helping companies build and accelerate their growth. Brendan has delivered a number of speeches and training programmes, based on his book, at annual conferences and for various industry organisations. He delivers a programme based on the book, directly to companies wanting to innovate or scale.

Brendan is a non-executive Chair to a number of Irelands most successful SME’s.

Brendan obtained a bachelor of commerce degree from University College Cork before joining KPMG (Dublin) to train as a Chartered Accountant. After qualifying, Brendan joined PWC (London) working in the corporate recovery and corporate finance departments. Brendan completed an MBA at University College Dublin and a Diploma in Executive Coaching from University College Cork / IMI (Dublin).
